Indeed a Busy Busy Day……
I Simply LOVE IT when Jesus shows His Stuff!
I will write more later as i am in a huge hurry, but it has been a JESUS filled day today. It is now 3:15pm as i write this on Friday 8/24/2012.
This morning at 8:00am as i performed STA’s *Project*Cleanup* duties, Jesus introduced me to a homeless 65 year old educated and disabled Army Veteran.
I asked as i was taught by Jesus to do…..”What can i do for you”…..he was caught off guard as i was lifting a Sam’s Club Cart from near a bus stop into our van in order to go return it to them.
Long story short, which you will get later or tomorrow is i spent the next 6 Hours from 8am – 2pm taking him to churches etc as he was looking for assistance and per his request. What i was after was to talk to him, so i gladly drove him around. We talked continuously.
He is an awesome God Loving man. And it is real. He is simply in a bad spot. He is educated, more then i am as he has been to college. I have not. He is well spoken. Doesn’t drink and doesn’t smoke.
We had a great time and great conversation talking in length about Jesus and His Father and everything in between.
I dropped him off at 2pm at a park. I am frantically searching on Craigslist for rooms for rent, printing them out and emailing the owners as he gets a disability check and so has income. He wants a home and deserves one! He WANTS to be off the streets. I have to hit this hard!
I am to meet him again at 5:30pm and i am praying he will be at our meet up location. i will bring him all my printouts of rooms for rent and have him go over them.
This 65 year old Army Vet needs our help. If YOU can help us to help him, will you please go to our donate page and make a monetary donation now?? We will be needing gasoline the most right now as i will be transporting this man a good deal.
Another need for him right now is food. I gave him some today and got water in him as he was pretty weak. He told me he has been living on 3-4 tablespoons of peanut butter a day to keep himself going. Yes, i believe him. We gave him much more then peanut butter.
PLEASE, go to our Donate page and make a donation right now! Ok?
Thank you so much!
