What if you knew…..

What if You Knew...that nobody at Straight Ahead Outreach-Taking Back Your Life Inc (STA) makes any money. No wages, No salaries.

What if You Knew… we would like to one day?

What if You Knew…STA is a Mobile Crisis Outreach. Imagine what that must entail?

What if You Knew… the Founder/CEO’s wage if he ever was to receive one would only be $34,000.00/per year?

What if You Knew… that same Founder (me), has placed a ceiling, a cap on wages that can be earned by myself or anyone in my position or the VP position and placed it in writing to the IRS when we applied for our 501c3 nonprofit status?

What if You Knew… that same ceiling or cap on wages is not to ever ever exceed $85,000.00/per year, by the CEO or Vice President no matter how large STA becomes. Even if STA becomes a $5 million to $10 million dollar organization. In addition, it is in writing to the IRS that in the event the organization would become a larger budgeted organization, that does NOT mean the wages would automatically increase to that $85,000.00 mark, but rather an increase in wage would be monitored, reviewed and voted upon by all STA Officers, staff, volunteers, donors and any advisory members involved with STA and only if that type of wage was honestly needed by the Founder/CEO or VP at the time. It would be strictly monitored by the Founders belief in Jesus Christ and Jehovah God. It is all in writing to the IRS. For example, this scenario is in writing to the IRS: If Pat and I (VP and Founder/CEO) were both making $45,000.00 at the time STA became a $5-$10 million dollar organization, we would not want or need to raise our salaries as together we would then be making $90,000.00 per year and we simply do not need any more then that to live on. Anymore would be considered by us to be in excess and exceeding reasonable for the business we are in and why we are in it. If we were making that type of wage outside of STA, in other words in secular positions or some other source, then we would not take a wage from STA. ALL in writing to the IRS.

Again…What if You Knew…no one currently receives a wage at STA and never has.

To take this a bit further…

What if You Knew…the Vice President and Founder, in other words..my fiancé and myself, invest every extra dime we personally can back into Straight Ahead Outreach (STA). In 2010 that investment in STA equaled almost $9600.00 of our personal monies. In 2011 it was minimal. 2011 was a very difficult year for both us personally and STA. So far this year, 2012 it has been almost $1700.00.

What if You Knew… we, the Founder and the Vice President both, of STA have no savings. Nothing to fall back on.

What if You Knew…that between both the Founder (me) and our Vice President (my fiance), we support ourselves personally out of a total of less then $38,000.00 per year from outside employment away from STA?? Again, No wages from STA.

What if You Knew… that out of that $38,000.00 per year which we both live on, we invest personally as much as possible back into helping STA help those in need?

What if You Knew….come this September 2012, due to becoming another victim of this economy we could possibly lose that $38,000.00 we support ourselves on?
