He Was happy and relaxed….a pleasant site….

Homelessness Prevented

We had raised funds from a very generous donor in Minnesota to pay his rent and to prevent his impending eviction on the very day of 5/13/2013.

We succeeded by the Grace of Jesus Christ.

On Wednesday 5/15/2013, with funds left over from the same donor, we were able to go shopping and bring a good amount of groceries to the same Disabled Senior Citizen in need.

He had nothing in his fridge, zero and nothing in his cupboards.

No food.  He had been eating Ramen noodles.

He now has enough groceries for a few weeks and his home is safe.

Ever Wonder……

What will “Just” $1.00 do???

For example it will literally provide 7.7 bottles of water to those in need.

Walmart or ALDI, water purchased at either one produces the same result.

YOUR $1.00 combined with everyone elses will help those in need greatly, probably more then you yourself will ever really know. It will help us help them along the path to what we call “Taking Back Your Life.”

Any amount will help. You may give more then $1.00, that is up to you. Anything you give will go towards providing a positive future and making a difference in the life of those in need.

$1.00, sometimes even 1 bottle of water, believe it or not will help empower someone to “Take Back Their Life.”

Providing Hope In The Midst of Crisis in Jesus’ name

We have been very busy lately and our Mobile Crisis Outreach Food Pantry is nearly empty.  We carry much needed beverages and food items on board for those we are working with to get off the streets, struggling to keep themselves straight once released from jail or simply anyone who looks like they may need hydration in this heat or may be simply too hungry.

STA really needs your assistance at this time as we are almost out of both beverages and food items.  We have enough beverages to last us for the next 2 days and our meal items are completely out.  All that remains are chips, cookies and crackers as far as food and we are out of funds.

$200.00 would fill our Mobile Crisis Outreach Food Pantry nicely.  

If you can help with extra we would appreciate it as we have other important business equipment and operating needs in order to continue the critical services we provide.

LUNCH YESTERDAY and DINNER LAST NIGHT!

Home made Pizza!   YUM!

Just having fun, had to post these for our friend Gwen as i know she loves to try yummy good food!  Healthy, pretty much too  :-))!

I made these for Dinner last night Gwen, but i also made 2 for lunch (and ate both!!) to make sure i knew if Pat would like them for Dinner!  LOL!

If you think you would like to give them a try i could make them for you sometime.

One on left is with sauce the other is a “White Pizza”

I do have to admit, the pictures are of the lunch ones, the dinner ones i did add quite a bit of cheese, some onion, and fresh beets in addition to the broccoli!   :-))!

Whooooo Hoooo!!!     Today, 4/7/2012, we have received our first “Outreach Items” Donation of this year from Rochester, Minnesota!

The Donor found it very easy to purchase an Amazon Gift Card for use on our Amazon.com WISH LIST

We are simplifying this year and this is our beginning.  We almost gave up this year and shut down.   But, this particular Donor talked me out of it and also donated this first Gift Card to get us re-started! Cool!

We would like to Thank with the deepest gratitude this Donor in Rochester, Minnesota.  You know who you are :-))!

This Gift Card will be used to purchase items on our Amazon Wish List and distribute to those we see on the streets who are in definite need.   Those who we see that are typically not in the public view and who are in most cases in more dire need.  

Once Again, Thank You Minnesota!

A cool Dieting Frame of Mind i believe in.  Just watch animals eat, they eat for nourishment not fun and they only eat mainly one thing at a time, not a buffet of items.

..that food was never intended to be used as fun. Food

was intended to be used as nourishment.   

When you use food as fun, your body has no fun at all.

It works harder, and it ultimately can’t fight off the effects

of mistreatment. It carries more weight, which puts more

strain on your heart. Its arteries get clogged, which does

the same.

 You could, of course, define fun another way. You

could decide that “fun” is being healthy and happy. But

you might have to change your whole idea about food.
