I take this work i do personally, yes i know, you are not supposed to.  But, i do, it is simply how i am.

Last night, Sunday,  5/6/2012 was a rough night for me as many are.   It was really no different then most actually.   I sat here after my wife went to bed searching the web for people we have helped in the past to see if they are still ok or maybe having trouble.

All i will say at this point is last night was not a night of good news shall we say with the information i found online.  It made me sad, upset, mad, all of it with the roller-coaster it builds.  It is constant in this work.

Sometimes in this business of helping those in need, you end up having to try and force a change in someone.  Especially when you are trying to keep them and their children from becoming homeless and you only have a couple hours in which to do it.  You, “Have To” make things happen for them.  You have to force a change in them.   It usually is not very pretty, not fun and not easy.  But at the time it is the best for them.  It is necessary, critically necessary.

The problem with it is……it is not perfect.

I realize it is obvious and understand, and you cannot change anyone who is not ready to change.

This person and their multiple children, i know they all believe in Jesus because we spoke about him many times throughout the year.

But, this persons path, their life, their childrens and entire families life is still filled with strong, debilitating strife.  I seen it last night via the web, Social Media and the arrest records for our area.

I forced a temporary change in this family.  One which was critically needed at the time.  But it was not the perfect change i so hope and pray for each time.

IMPACT (influence or have an effect on).  Oh yes most certainly we made a massive impact on this family.  However, it simply is not enough.

As time goes by and i see more and do more, the things i go through with those in need and the ones we assist and especially get close to such as this family in mind, i am seeing one common very extremely literal thread……

Literally, no bull or “blue sky” type stuff…..but literally……

Jesus is the Idea Man, the Shaker & Mover if you will.  God (who i choose to call Jehovah) is His Father in heaven who gives Jesus the assignments, just as He literally did when Jesus was here on earth.

So, Jesus then gives us the tasks we are to carry out in order for ALL to bring Glory to God His Father.

So, as i have stated many times already previously……Jesus puts us in front of and or with others, in their paths, literally….. He does it in order for us to …..Make An IMPACT.  

Period. 

The Impact we are making is on behalf of Jesus and His Father Jehovah.

Period.

Thennnnnn, they take it from there.  We are to let them do their job and get out of the way.

Our job, ALL of us, yes…You and i, every single one of us, We are to make an Impact, (influence or have an effect on)……

Only, They, Jesus and His Father Jehovah can force a change in someone perfectly, totally.

IF, IF it is Jehovah God‘s WILL.  

A Prayer: I pray to you dear Jehovah in Jesus’s name and i thank you for this privilege of prayer.  I ask please in Jesus’s name that if it be your will Jehovah, please help this family, bring the warmth of your vast wings and surround them all, all of them, please cover them and fill them with your wisdom, your safety, your courage and your strength.  In Jesus’s name and from my soul,  i Thank You Jehovah.  Amen
