 The items below are our Fundraising Events.  They are conducted here on our website.   Big events out in public have high costs and bulky logistical needs.  We put all donations directly to the need and not to bulky, costly endeavors. **Please Be Aware.  Although we would like to, at this time we do not take any salaries here at Straight Ahead Outreach and your Donations are Tax Deductible under the full extent of the IRS 501c3 Code.  100% of your donations go to further our work and improve the lives of others as we believe that those we help, those in need come first.   We Thank You from our souls in advance.

* Fuel Cards:  Without fuel we can do nothing, as we are 100% Mobile.  Please donate funds or Fuel Gift Cards such as Sunoco, Shell, Hess, Pilot, RaceTrac, Rally, Exxon-Mobil, or Wal-Mart for our Mobile Crisis activities.

 ** Food Gift Cards:  Gift Cards to Burger King, McDonald’s, Subway, Publix, Kroger, Aldi, Sweetbay, Winn-Dixie, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Hungry Howies, Dominoes, Papa Johns, Frays Donuts, Dunkin Donuts,  Panera Bread, Starbucks, Wal-Mart etc.

We would like to have our 1995 Chevrolet Mobile Crisis Outreach Van (pictured at left) painted and proper graphics placed on it to provide more professional image and visibility.  The total needed for the entire paint job and graphics is $1550.00.    

The new paint and logo would look pretty close to the photo at left except of course it would not be on a new van :-))!   Will you please help us today with this?

Tune up, Goal = $200 - for our current Mobile Crisis vehicle, 1995 Chevy Mobile Crisis van. 

Vehicle Insurance – Goal = $1500 - Needed to supply vehicle insurance for our Mobile Crisis van for one year.

 

Replacement Mobile Crisis Van, Goal  = $15,000.00 – $30,000.00 - We are in need to replace and upgrade our current 1995 Chevrolet Cargo Van which we use as our Mobile Crisis/Intervention Unit and has over 230,000 miles on it.  We would like to purchase a larger unit where we could build a better interview area and have more cargo room.

Motel accommodations, Ongoing Need -  for our Friends In Need for emergency stays.Approx $50/night and $200 – $300/week needed.  This helps us be able to work more closely with our Friends In Need and ensure a better chance of gaining permanent results.

Wheelchair Ramp, $150.00 Goal. We currently use a piece of plywood.

Two Laptop computers, Goal = $1200.00 - for Mobile use with software capable of keeping up with our intense work.- Our current laptops are very outdated.

High Volume Color Printer/Copier/Scanner - Goal = $500.00 

 Three Kayaks, Goal = $1800.00 for outreach activities and our Friends In Need nature therapy 

Bicycles in good working condition to be given to our friends in need so they may get to job interviews, parole office and doctor appointments on time. – Costs = Approx $50-$75 each up to approx 25 bicycles.

Clothing: In need of mostly mens clothing.  Med, Large, XL shirts, jackets etc.  IN SEVERE need is mens pants in waist size 29-34.  For some reason we never have a problem receiving womens clothing.  If you make a monetary donation we will make the purchases ourselves and obtain the appropriate clothing.

Outreach Scooters, Goal =  $6000.00 - We would like to purchase 3 motorized scooters to be used for our qualified Friends In Need who are advancing in their journey to Take Back Their Life.  These would be used for them to use to go to work, appointments, shopping etc.  They would be STA property and provided on an as needed basis.  They would also be used for our Outreach in the streets when the Mobile Crisis Van is not needed. 

 Economy Outreach Vehicle, Goal  = up to $5000.00 - Economy Vehicle needed to do daily Outreach activities such as transportation to appointments, jobs, and more where we do not need to utilize the Mobile Crisis Van.
