Our Showers of Hope Mobile Crisis/Prevention Intervention Unit is:
Straight Ahead Outreach (Taking Back Your Life) Inc.(STA), a unique, small and intense, IRS 501c3 registered nonprofit Public Charity.
We keep our Friends In Need moving Straight Ahead on a path to Taking Back Their Lives.
Operated by:
- Lance Greene/Founder/CEO/Sr. Case Manager-Volunteer Basis – Non-salaried
- Patricia Mishler/V.P./Secretary/Treasurer-Volunteer basis – Non-salaried
- Two Part-time volunteers in Knoxville, TN – Non-salaried
In 2012, if funds allow us to continue our work, STA’s goal will be to locate and help first, those who are Jesus’s Sheep, His Lost Sheep and those who hunger to learn about Him and His Father Jehovah God Almighty. If someone does not want help and or is not one of Jesus’s Sheep, we will “Dust off our Feet” and move on to the next. Of course there is always an exception as in if the person is in medical need, then we will make sure they get what is needed. The goal here will be to promote the Glory of Jehovah God Almighty through His Son Jesus Christ.
They may be:
- Seniors on the streets, in assisted living facilities or in their own homes.
- Veterans on the streets or in their own homes.
- They may be Infants who have been abandoned and left at the side of the road to die.
- They may be parents thinking of abandoning their infants.
- They may be ex-cons.
- They may be as what society labels, alcoholics, drug addicts, former or current prostitutes.
- They may be anyone who is labeled as homeless.
They could simply be anybody.
They may be YOU.
***We Help who we call our Friends In Need who are in Crisis. We will help anyone in need. Although our main focus may be on Jesus’s Sheep of the Homeless, our Friends In need may also be in homes of their own and in urgent need, in Crisis. Yes, preventing Homelessness. Finding Jesus’s Lost Sheep.
